Displaying alarms by status

Alarms can be categorised by status. There are four ‘states’ to which an alarm can be set:

• Active
• Acknowledged 
• Unacknowledged 
• Masked 

These alarms can be displayed or hidden from view, as required.

To display / hide alarms by ‘alarm state’:

1. Select the location of your interest, then in the tab Monitoring > Alarms
2. Position the mouse over the down arrow in the last column header and ‘Alarm State’ displays.
3. Click the left mouse button and a filter listing displays.
   If  displays alongside Show Active, Show Acknowledged, Show Unacknowledged or Show Masked then information pertaining to these alarms is currently displaying; if there is no  alongside the alarm setting then this information is not currently displaying.
   
4. Click the alarm setting whose details you want to display or hide as required; the switch toggles between displaying and hiding the alarm information in the listing.
