The pressure transducers in i2O loggers are self-contained digital devices supplied to i2O already calibrated by Keller. The i2O logger does not change the calibration in any way as it reads digital values directly from the transducer. Transducers are calibrated across their full measurement range by Keller at the time of manufacture, so the i2O production test (on 100% of loggers) is to functionally test and validate the transducer by means of spot-checks, it is not to perform any calibration adjustments. Our specification of “no calibration needed within 5 years” is based on transducer performance data supplied by Keller, including long-term drift. It is important to understand that nothing inside the i2O Logger affects the calibration of the transducers, as the transducers are a self-contained digital device with no external adjustment.
Standard “Certificates of Test” are available from i2O on request – see attached example. If you would like certificates for your loggers, please email email@example.com stating the serial numbers for which certificates are required.
